Facilities-General Maintenance

We have a full-time opportunity for a General Maintenance worker to join our Facilities team at the Woodlands Campus. Â Must be able to work a flexible schedule, includes evening and weekend work.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks for our buildings, grounds, or equipment. Could include plumbing, electrical, carpentry work, or the like
- Perform work that does not require special licensing; or work with a licensed technician
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the safety of others when performing all work
- Complete daily room setups; manage room setup changes
- Manage and take care of inventory/resources (tables, chairs, etc)
- Assist with a wide range of Facilities projects as directed
Skill/Experience:
- 2+ years previous experience preferred
- Highly organized; ability to follow written/verbal orders accurately
- Be a self-starter and work independently in the absence of supervision
- Able to lift 50 pounds above waist, and carry heavy objects
- Strong communication skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
