Job Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated, aspiring Graphic Designer to join our creative team! With the diversity of tasks that arise here, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of projects that range from print collateral to web graphics, event marketing to booklet layouts and much more. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design and illustrate a wide range of projects including our weekend worship experience, print media, promotions, web design and special ministry projects
- Attention to detail when creating clear and compelling pieces through print and digital mediums
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with our creative team to develop design solutions from concept to completion
- Seek out and foster working relationships with ministry leaders to bring projects to life
- Challenge the status quo and bring fresh ideas to the production of our team
- Support peers and managers in raising the bar for branding and marketing excellence and provide ongoing professional feedback for work delivered
- Support the goals and values of Woodlands Church and its leadership
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in a graphic design environment or related field
- Bachelors or Associates degree in design or marketing preferred (not required)
- Portfolio illustrating a wide variety of design solutions
- An understanding of design principles, specifically with typography and composition
- Receptive to receive feedback and direction in the pursuit of excellence
- Willingness to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment with tight deadlines and fast turnarounds
- Proficiency in Adobe CC, with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator
- Collaborative, flexible, goal-driven personality
